Publisher Templates

When you're uploading a lot of minis, there are a few fields you might want to always have the same or similar data, like a common description template, or a link to your personal website. You can set these in TaleSpire -> Publisher Settings -> Templates.

Model Import Settings

Depending on your workflow it might be useful to disable the automatic scaling and positioning of TaleWeaverLite when importing a model. You can do so in the Model Import Settings window found in the TaleSpire menu section.

Upload Retry

If you have an unstable internet connection, you might have trouble getting an upload to succeed with the built-in Publisher due to network errors.
If that is the case, you can set how often each upload step will be retried before stopping with an error from the TaleSpire -> Publisher Settings -> Upload Settings menu section.

Bulk Updating

If you have many minis already uploaded that you may want to update all at once, you can use the bulk updater that is capable of editing most of a creature's data. To open it go to the "TaleSpire" section in the top menu, the click "Bulk Updater".

The bulk updater currently only supports updating minis, not uploading.

The bulk updater has a search area so you can find the submissions you want to update.

You can mass select the found submissions using the Select dropdown. In the results list you can also select individual entries for updating by pressing their checkbox on the left side.

Once a submission is selected you can edit its name, the attached homepage and whether it's public or hidden. You can also see the current version of the uploaded file and all content flags set for this mini.

To change the content flags or tags, check the respective "Replace X" checkbox in the toolbar, then select the appropriate content flags/tags for your selection. You can also enter a new version and changelog info for the new creature file.

If you don't select either "Replace Flags" or "Tags", the bulk updater will only update the mod.io metadata, and will not change anything about the uploaded .tsMod files itself.

If you do select "Replace Flags" or "Tags", the bulk updater will update any changes to the mod.io metadata, and download the currently active mod file, add/replace its content flags/tags with the ones selected in the bulk updater, save and reupload the now edited .tsMod (and, if necessary, upgraded) file back to mod.io.

Note: If there are more results than your page size, you can use the page buttons below the toolbars to switch through result pages, but your selection will be cleared when switching between pages!
